You shine like a star but you are not star
For a star is common and none short of basic..
That is not you. For you are unique yet simple in every way you are the sunset
Which one waits for every day,
At times you feel lonely hurt and confused …past relationships left you with nothing but a bruise.
So when they speak of trust you are ignorant to what that it is…
Not your fault but you must let go of your fear.
Fear of trust lust and love…
But they are all stages in life.
And the day your knight will arrive
And rescue your beautiful soul
Is the day your light will shine more than bright.
For you are an understatement of beautiful because that can’t describe you
Your mere nature is your makeup which makes you this
Word more than beautiful.
I write you this telling you not to be afraid
For what you deserve is in front of your face
And when the days are cold and the nights are blue
Remember the first line of this poem
